We are hiring a Studio Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our studio with precision, consistency, and professionalism.

The Studio Manager ensures that workflows run smoothly, standards are upheld, and deadlines are met—allowing creative and strategic work to flourish without friction.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical and operational skill with a grounded professional working style.

This is a role for someone who values clarity, accountability, and well-run environments.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Technical Execution

  • Manage daily studio operations, schedules, and priorities

  • Oversee production timelines, sampling, and inventory tracking

  • Maintain accurate documentation, checklists, and standard operating procedures

  • Coordinate logistics with suppliers, contractors, and service partners

  • Support product launches with consistency, detail-oriented execution

  • Monitor quality control and ensure standards are met

  • Maintain an organized, functional, and efficient studio environment

Communication & Professional Practice

  • Track tasks to completion and follow through without reminders

  • Spotlight issues early and recommend practical solutions

  • Maintain composure and professionalism during high-volume periods

  • Contribute to a focused, respectful studio culture

  • Comfort working with systems, documentation, and repeatable processes

  • High level of ownership, reliability, and attention to detail

  • Proficiency with inventory, scheduling, and task-management tools

  • Industrial sewing machine proficiency (e.g., straight stitch, overlock/serger, coverstitch)

  • Pattern drafting and grading skills, with the ability to read, interpret, and adjust patterns as needed

Working Style

  • Methodical, organized, and dependable

  • Calm under pressure; solution-oriented

  • Able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Consistent, professional demeanor

Role Fit

This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys structure, clarity, and execution.

It is not a creative-director role, a caretaking position, or a fast-and-loose environment. Success here comes from consistency, sound judgment, and follow-through.

Compensation

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, technical skill level, and scope of responsibility.

This role is intended to be a long-term, core position within the studio. Compensation will reflect the candidate’s demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage production systems, and uphold operational standards.

Details will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
